Before we get into these unique gift ideas, I want to start by saying I LOVE buying gifts for people. Whether it’s Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, or whatever the occasion may be, it is one of my favorite things to do. You won’t catch me buying gift cards. No way. I pride myself on my gift-giving abilities. We all have that one person has everything, and is difficult to buy for. Those people are my SPECIALTY.
This list isn’t for just anyone though, (although I don’t know who wouldn’t enjoy a Capri Blue candle-just saying!) this list is carefully curated for a friend or girlfriend. Honestly, any of these items would make a unique gift for your teenage daughter also. Now, I don’t know your friends personally, but I can promise you that there’s at least one unique gift on this list that you haven’t thought of and that your best friend or girlfriend would enjoy it.

This color-changing shirt is awesome! I remember these being popular in the 80s, but I’m bringing them back with this unique gift idea. This shirt changes color instantly with heat. It comes in tons of colors and styles, so you could even buy this for a boy and you would be good to go.
I’ll admit I love Bath and Body Works candles, and I always stock up when they’re on sale. BUT- If you want something that is a few steps above that, look no further than the Capri Blue candles. They are so heavy and luxurious. They also smell really expensive. (If that’s a thing). One of my students gave me an Anthropologie gift card for my birthday, so I picked this bad boy up and have enjoyed it ever since. It’s the perfect centerpiece candle.
I actually bought this bag as a gift for myself. I needed something less bulky than my laptop bag, but more functional than my purse. This is it. I can perfectly fit my laptop, keys, wallet, and any essentials I need in this bag. Not to mention it’s filled with CONFETTI that moves around inside the walls of the bag! I get tons of compliments on it, and I think this is such a fun gift idea.
