This simple nail art design stemmed from practicing some self-care, while self-quarantining.
Negative space nail art is so cool to me. I love easy, minimalistic nail designs. I think simple nail polish looks good on long or short nails. So, after being off work for a week and cleaning every nook and cranny of my house, I decided that it’s the perfect time to step up my nail art game.

After several trial and error attempts to re-create the neat, crisp, tiny details that adorn every fingernail on my “Minimalistic Nail Art” Pinterest board, I figured there had to be an easy way to do nail art at home…and…there is!
Posca Pens!
With their ultra-fine tip and vivid color selecton, Posca Pens are the easiest medium to use for easy nail art at home. I had ordered these pens for Kennedy’s birthday in April, but I let her open them early since we were stuck in the house. (In addition to nail art, we’ve also painted 156784 rocks with these pens. FYI)
Not only are these pens simple to use, they are also great for beginners. If you make a mistake you can simply wipe it off and start over. When you’ve got it the way you want it, just seal it with a top coat. I highly recommend this top coat. I’ve used it over my regular polish for years, and it dries in like, two seconds. I tried to seal the Posca ink with a matte top coat at first, but it made the color smear.
