I wanted the Horseshoe table from CB2 but I couldn't bring myself to spend almost $700 on it... so I made this one for cheap!⠀
Well, it was actually free for me because I got the scrap wood off of the side of the road...but you can make one for around $135. ⠀

Swipe ➡to see what it looked like before! We pulled up the carpet and laid flooring we got from @loweshomeimprovement. The walls went from blue, to white, to green, and finally back to @valsparpaint Swiss Coffee. (thanks Walt)⠀

The floor length mirror arrived broken, so I made a headboard out of it. I painted the lamp that was Kennedys when she was little. I found the nightstand and the other little knick-knacks at Goodwill, the dresser off FB marketplace.⠀

and if you look hard enough you can see me watching over our guests haha. That self-portrait was in the attic from my college days. I also made the Laura Blythman inspired mountain collage. The oil in the diffuser is @aroma360 Santal. (If you haven't tried their scents, you should!)⠀

It’s week 4 of the @betterhomesandgardens @oneroomchallenge and I gotta say... I’m not sure I'm feeling this dark green color I chose for the walls. 😐⠀

I was going for dark academia vibes but this is giving old man western or something 🤠.⠀
⠀
Even though I've wasted a ton of time already, I think I'm gonna start from scratch and repaint it to match the rest of the house in @valspar Swiss Coffee. ⠀

I can’t say I'm not feeling a little defeated, but Walt is going to do some of the work in here while I'm at school, so I think I’ll be okay.⠀

On the plus side, I just got some cane webbing for the headboard and I do think it's gonna turn out nice! I’m gonna work on it tomorrow, so be sure to catch it on stories!⠀
